I picked up the following decorations for Halloween at the end of the season a few years ago and have kept these items in my party planning design box. These cheap Halloween decorations are candy corn twinkle lights, decorative candy dishes, orange votive candles and glass votive candle holders, mini-plastic pumpkin buckets and a witch's hat. I may have spent a total of $15 for all of these Halloween items and have used them for the past three seasons.
Put some toy spiders on the refreshment table and make little ghosts out of cheese cloth or white material. Fill the ghost's head with quilt batting or more cheese cloth then wrap a long piece of purple yarn around the ghost's neck. Leave enough of the yarn so that a place card can be attached to each ghost. Use a hole punch to put a hole in the place card, thread the yard through the hole and secure the place card to the ghost. Using a black marker, draw two round eyes on the ghost. This will make a very different place card holder. This will work for both a child's and an adult's party. Both groups will enjoy their little ghost Halloween party decorations that double as party favors.
Try to use nature to help you decorate whenever possible. You can find holly berries, pine cones, branches and mistletoe almost everywhere. These items are free, earth friendly and they are so much fun to work with.
This is the fun part. It's like fitting a jigsaw puzzle together but there might be more than one way to put all the pieces in. You need a few sheets of graph paper to do this with. Draw the outline of your bathroom on one sheet and the outlines of the toilet, bathtub, shower, washbasin and other accessories on another. You may need several sheets of paper to draw fixtures of different shapes and sizes to try out. Cut out the fixtures and have fun arranging them to fit on top of the outline bathroom drawing.
